The screw wood chipper is designed for processing wood waste such as branches, small tree trunks, and wood offcuts into chips approximately 4–9 cm in length.

The resulting wood chips are widely used in households and agriculture as fuel for solid-fuel boilers, stoves, fireplaces, and other heating systems. The chipper is ideal for private properties, gardens, farms, and agricultural operations.

Construction and Operating Principle

The shredding mechanism consists of a screw rotor with sharpened cutting edges and a cylinder made of high wear-resistant steel. This design ensures efficient wood processing, excellent wear resistance, and long-lasting, reliable operation even under intensive use.

Power is transmitted through the Power Take-Off (PTO) shaft. The machine requires a tractor with a minimum power output of 16 HP.

Operating Recommendations

For maximum performance, process branches and wood with a diameter of up to 4 cm.

Very dry and hard wood (such as old oak or other hardwood species) may place additional stress on the mechanism and reduce operating efficiency. It is also not recommended to feed grass, leaves, vines, or other long fibrous materials, as they may wrap around the screw.

If the chipper begins to grip branches poorly or pushes them back out of the feed chute, clean the screw mechanism and inspect the cutting edges. Regular maintenance ensures stable performance and extends the service life of the machine.
